Nowadays, going overseas to find a good job opportunities or a better quality education for a long period of time, is becoming increasingly popular. There are of course pretty much pros of it , nevertheless cons also exist . In this essay I am going to discuss reasons for this tendency and both sides of it.
Let’s begin by looking at the advantages of moving away. First of all it can broaden person’s horizons which is definitely a good thing! One becomes more conscious of another culture, people, language. When meeting foreign citizens person can learn their customs and traditions, make new friends, sample new cusines and discover new tastes which person have never tried before. Another huge benefit it is more fascinating job prospects and opportunity for education. For example for teaching someone foreign language it is better to live with people , immerse yourself into this language it gives a fundamental knowledge about this language , which can serve as a great development upon returning home. Turning to the other hand of the argument the obvious downside is culture shock.Sone Individual simply can not handle all of this pressure because it is hard to adopt to new mentality and people start to experience a language barrier. It seems easy just arrive in another country and start talking with people but in the reality people can separate themselves from others due to fear of not knowing clearly foreign language and culture , they habitually think that because of this people can think something bad about them. Also people may miss relatives, friends and even with having touch with them by the internet may be not enough. This process of adaptation takes time and can be especially challenging if there is also a language barrier and strong attachment to people from hometown.
All things considered, starting life in another country a double-edged sword. People need weight all positive and negative things about it before making a final decision. But In my opinion even with all of this risks it is a good experience with its cons .
