Dear Raj,

I hope you and your family are doing well. I am writing this letter in accordance to extend my rental lease agreement which is expiring next month.

I have been living for 5 months in this apartment and I am planning to stay for a year more as I have taken up a new course at the nearby university. This course is of 10 months which can bring up huge career opportunities. As I have been staying in the house already, it would be much easier to do so rather than shifting to a new place.

Also, I want to inform you about the water leakage in the bathroom which has been getting worse for the last 5 days. It is difficult to use it cause leaked water spills all over the floor. I would appreciate it if you could fix that as soon as possible.

I hope you will take the necessary actions to fix the leak and extend the lease agreement.
