Many people claim that some kinds of sports, such as boxing, karate and martial arts, directly transmit violence and can lead to a chaotic society where people portray intense aggressiveness. Hence, those individuals concur that it should be banned from TV and, therefore, from international sports events. From my point of view, I partly agree with this statement.
In the first place, those activities are superior for physical and mental health, as they could minimize the level of stress or anxiety for some who struggle with it. In addition, spending energy and emotions on attending such spots may exclude the thoughts of fighting in real life that clearly contribute to a slighter level of crime. Apart from that, such sports are method of protecting humanity and individuals from bad society which cause unfavorable situations. For that, some colleges and schools teach these sports specifically to their students, so they can protect themselves from eve-teasers or other criminal individuals. The last thing is that a number of of these sports are used to provide training to the military forces to protect themself in case of any attack, consequently that I assume the most major fact.
However, not everyone can get all the information right, which can result in numerous problems in our society. Content watched by public can have major impacts on their behaviors. What’s more, violent sports scenes can make people, especially teenagers, become more aggressive in mental and behaviors. Moreover, more and more viewers feel that this violent athletics is normal, as the government supports broadcasting this type of shows or gives a permission for arrange various kinds of sport events.
Considering all of these, I completely understand the position of those who would like the broadcasting of such types of sports as boxing, karate or martial arts to be banned on TV. Nevertheless, my opinion is opposite, people should consider this issue not only from unpleasant side, but also look for advantages in it.
