Growing population creates a demand in a living spaces. This development leads to people having a smaller houses without any outdoor areas. This essay will explain why it is a negative development.
To begin with, absence of outdoor areas can put a children’s safety in question. Active little people require a lot of space for their interests and games. And if there is no place to use it like a playground, youngsters can start playing on dangerous places like car roads, which can lead to a very serious consequences. For example, there have been a lot of car accidents in the US due to the fact that households in some regions didn’t have enough place for children’s outdoor activities and they were forced to play on such dangerous areas.
In addition, this development can cause some problems with security. Because of dense house planning, much households are built too close to each other. Every person in the neighborhood can see what is being done in the other houses from their windows. In addition that density puts houses into a seismical danger. Earthquake can cause more damage if the buildings are built too close and also it makes it harder for people to escape from the buildings. For example, in Almaty, because of the dense building plannings, some areas became extremely sensitive for seismical activity and creating a very dangerous situation in such regions.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the increasing number of houses that are being built without any outdoor space is an absolutely negative development due to it’s problems with safety and security.
