The diagram presents the process in which salt is separating from water making it appropriate for drinking. The whole way can be divided into three stages.
The first part begins when the salt water is intaked from a sea and delivered to the pre-treatment filter. From this filter a part of the liquid goes to a filter backwash and returns to the sea, while another part continues its way to the middle reservoir.
After that, goes a main stage during which water forced through membrane at high pressure letting water molecules be separated from the salt. At this moment, clean water follow to the last step while sea water concentrate also returning to the sea.
The last part of water filtering is post-treatment with lime chlorine and fluoride, and only after that drinkable water is moved to storage systems and integrated water supply system.
