While some people believe that schools should prioritize academic subjects at school because nowadays many future careers require academic knowledge, others are of the opinion that art and sports are also equally important since job satisfaction also plays a vital role in reaching true success. I am of the latter opinion that creative subjects are equally important.
Gaining academic knowledge has long been considered a key factor in building a successful career. Subjects such as mathematics, biology, and English provide students with essential skills and understanding required in many professional fields. For example, engineers rely on mathematics to design structures, while doctors need biology to understand the human body. Academic knowledge also develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are crucial in the workplace. Therefore, focusing on core academic subjects helps students prepare for future employment and professional challenges.
On the other hand, creative subjects like art and sports play an equally vital role in students’ development. Creative subjects such as art, painting, and drama enhance imagination, self expression and emotinal intelligence., while sports promote health, teamwork and discipline. For instance, participating in sports can teach students cooperation, handling challenges and decision-making under heavy pressure, skills that are important in any profession. By incooparating sports and art, schools help students develop well-rounded personality, which can increase job satisfaction and self fulfillment in the future.
In conclusion, while academic subjects are essential in building a successful career, creative subjects and sports are also equally important as they help students help students to foucs on personal growth and well-being. I firmly believe schools should adapt a balanced education as creative and academic knowledge both equipts students with necessary life skills and experiences to reach success in their professional and personal fullfillments.
