The maps illustrate the site of Bunborough Village now and a proposed development scheme during 2024.
In general, the entire area will witness significant urbanization with the addition of a new mode of transportation, promenade, and hotels. Moreover, only the beach and shops will remain unchanged.
Turning to details, a main road, running from Lynwich to Manchester is located in the west with a side path to the east around the village. In 2024, a new road is expected to branch off from the eastern road to the south connecting the main one. A railroad will also be built from the south to the northeast, with a station on the outskirts of the village.
In addition, two houses near the eastern road are estimated to be demolished and relocated to the north of the subway, and new housing will also be introduced adjacent to it. Although shops are due to remain, two fishing ports will be knocked down and replaced by a walkway, with a hotel between the southern road and the promenade. Finally, there will not be any redevelopments to the beach, but a hotel is due to be constructed in the southwest of it.
