The line chart illustrates the pounds that each American individual consumed on cheese, full-fat ice cream, low-fat ice cream, and yogurt between 1970 and 2010. Overall, cheese was the most popular dairy product among all, while low-fat ice cream was the least preferred generally. Both full-fat and low-fat ice cream remained the same throughout the period and the rest of the two were prevalent along with the time growing up.
With regard to the consumption of cheese, although there were only 8 pounds taken individually at first, it saw significant and steady growth for 40 years and finally broke through 20 points, peaking at 25 figures eventually. Yogurt followed the same pattern started at 1 point and kept increasing, exceeded low-fat ice cream in 2000 with a dramatical hike to 9 points in the end.
Full-fat ice cream and low fat-ice cream were generally stable with silght fiuctualtion. The former was overly beyond 10 figures however decreased at 8 points in finally, while the latter always kept data below 5 at around 4 pounds per person.
