Overall, the site underwent many dramatic changes, with the most infrastructure being repurposed of more modern amenities catering for citizens’ needs.
Initially, in the southwest of the area, there was a parking area, which was opposite a designated car parking. A director board was located in the middle of the site, overlooking an entrance underground that only for workers. Looking at the right side of the coal mining site that featuring two waste tip, while other amenities such as an office and staff changing room were situated on the northwest side.
Thereafter, the whole coal mining area were redevelopment , as the access way for workers are now available for guests. The parking area was remained unchange, while zone for office and staff dressing room became non-existent and was replaced by museum. On interesting development has been the construction, which took place in the middle of the site with the director board was turned into a cafe to serve for visitors. Beside that, a new digging driving track and a picnic area have been erected to replace a previously two waste tips. The site also saw a addition of many leisure facilities such as children play area and the complete removal of car parking as a replacement for loterry park
