The table describes the proportion of how much money was spent on education and training by the state and the percentage of participants aged 18-24 in five countries in the year 2012.
Overall, it is evident that the proportion of participants was higher compared to the expenditure rate in all five countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, Romania ,Hungary, Slovenia. It is also worth mentioning that,the highest percentage of participants was in Poland,and of expenditure in Slovenia.
The proportion of money spent on education and activities by the government in Poland stood at 5%, as opposed to the rate of participants aged 18-24 which was 44% in 2012.Meanwhile, the figure for expenditure in Czech Republic is at a moderate 9%, in comparison with participation rate which was three times as high as that of expenditure rate. In 2012, the proportion of money spent in Romania accounted for 10%, in contrast with participation rate standing at 23%.
In 2012, the percentage of money allocated for education and training in Hungary was 13%,compared to the proportion of people aged 18-24 who helped to allocate money accounted for 34%.In Slovenia, the figure for money expended stood at 25 % in 2012. However., the participation rate was 15% more in 2012 in Slovenia.
