One of the most heated discussions among people today is that sophisticated technologies including tablets and smart phones are believed to have more drawbacks than their benefits. I personally disagree with this statement because of some reasons.
There are at least three main factors why I am in the disagreement with that notion. The first strongest one is related to the wider connection which people can build. This means that the today’s users of any smart devices are able to connect to one another locally, nationally, and internationally especially because of the help of social media platforms simply by using their phones. The second compelling reason can be associated to the communication. It is widely seen that a number of online applications such as Zoom, WhatsApp, and others have been used by people for their daily virtual interactions.
The other reason for disagreeing that technologies have brought more negative impacts are because they indeed can help increase people’s productivity. This is especially essential where the Artificial Intelligent enables people to work faster and produce more results. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that the online technological devices can cause some problems. One of them is the cybercrimes which have been experienced by many people over the world. It is inevitable that today’s society’s data are at risk and easily hacked or stolen leading to more serious issues.
In conclusion, I totally disagree if the modern technologies are said to cause more problems because of its benefits on people’s social relations and works. However, it is acceptable that this new development has its minor negative side like crimes.
