The use of plastic as bags has been widely needs. However, this can damage the environment. I completelu agree with the isse that plastic bags should be banned.
Some often said that the use of the plastic bags is convenient. However, the global use of this materoal lead to extremely serious problem, especially to the ecosystem and habitats. Most of the waste end in the vast ocean. reserach shows that the amount of plastic waste in the sea almost created a solid patch that people can walk on it. When the plastic sink to the ocean floor, the sea animals mistaken it as a food and consume it without knowing it’s undigestable. The habitats and ecosystem are unable to digest or to recognize it which lead to the destruction. Until now, there is a no final disposal site for plastic bags that they are scattered around in many places including the ocean.
Another reason is that plastic materials are difficult to fuse and even hard to recycled. This material cannot be burned since it will release the dangerous chemical to the air. Therefore, the waste are more likely end up in the place where they are not belong to. Although there has been an effort to solve this problem by creating things from plastic waste such as new energy or wares, the plastic waste is still abundant out there. This proof that plastic considered complex and difficult to be recycled.
Overall, plastic bags, which are used globally can harm the environment. Plastics material are damaging the ecosystem as it hard to digest. Moreover, the meterial also hard to fuse and recycled. Therefore, I do agree that the use of plastic nags need to be banned.
