Overall, women generally less exercised than men among the surveyed age groups in Australia. And corresponding to the development of age, people from both genders tended to have fewer healthy activities.
Regarding the two youngest groups, 19% of women and 28% of men in 15-24 group have a difference of 9% in doing no physical activities. A similar trend, but to a smaller extent, was seen in the 25-34 group with the respective figures for men and women being 25% and 29%.
Turning to the two oldest group, the propotion of men 50% was lower than that of women 59% in the age group over 75 year old, displaying the similar dispartiy to the 15-24 age group. While the group of 65-74 year old captured the less significant difference in statistics compared to the group over 75, with the percentages of 40% and 45% respectively.
As for the remaining groups, the figures of female in the 25-34, 35-44, and 45-54 were similar in doing no physical operations, approximately 34%. And for the middle-aged men in the 35-44 group, they shown a similar level of habit activities. while the two 45-54 and 55-64 groups performed less than that of their counterparts, around 32%.
