A lion’s share of society believes that people should shift from one company to another while the rest of the people go averse it. Even though it totally depends on the individual’s choice, I firmly believe that changing to a different organization at least once has more merits. The reasons are discussed in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, people change their jobs due to toxic work cultures from companies. Some companies especially service-based ones do not have good work culture. For instance, workers are asked to work for a long working hours and this have many detrimental effects both on their physical as well as mental wellbeing. Moreover, employees of such organizations work across various departments due to the limited man power resources, and as a result they struggle to find their true potential or talent in the industry.
Furthermore, it is crucial for an individual to move to other companies to climb the professional ladder. In this technology era, people shift to a new company to upskill themselves and to have a stable job. For example, software developers shift to artificial intelligence or machine learning companies to have a stable work in the middle of lay-offs where many jobs are being replaced with AIs or robots. In addition to that, employees mainly change jobs to get an increased wage and balance their expenses in this recession.
In conclusion, although it’s a person’s choice to stay in the same company or move to another employer, based on the above reasons I strongly believe that changing from one company to another has plethora benefits in one’s life.
