The table illustrates how various first-year students rate their course as very good across three subjects: Economics, Law, Commerce.
Overall, commerce courses receive the highest ranking across all aspects, making them the most highly rated course among first-year students. Law courses also receive positive feedback. However, economics courses have to improve pre-course information and resources.
Commerce is the favorite course voted by first-year students at a university as three out of five aspects ranged around 93% to 95% which is very good. The figure for resources print and other were slightly lower at 81% and 86% respectively.
When it comes to law, the highest aspects are other resources and tutor support, with 80% and 79% respectively. Around 71% of first-year students rated pre-course information and printing materials as very good. Meanwhile, teaching areas need to be improved as they are valued at 67%.
Finally, economics courses show mixed results. They excel in teaching and tutor support, with over 90% of students rating these aspects as very good. On the other hand, just around 55% to 62% of first-year students rated pre-course information and resources as very good.
