In many parts of the globe, most students prefer to live with their households while studying at university, at the same time others’ choices are included to attend universities. While, the drawbacks of living independently are financial pressure and development of poor eating habits, I assert that the upsides such as improved focus on studies and better career opportunities outweigh its disadvantages.
Admittedly, there are few downsides which are directly linked to studying far from households. First and foremost is the economic challenges students have to deal with while studying at university.Academic individuals often face some financial issues such as education and accommodation expenditures which are difficult to solve while chasing focusing on degree and it distracts them from their academic priorities.Secondly, due to the fact that most students don’t have leisure time to prepare meals, they choose to eat out which has some detrimental effects on their mental and physical well being. Eventually unhealthy eating habits lead to poor academic performance.
Despite these justifications, I believe that living independently while pursuing a career has more benefits. Firstly, students have an enhanced focus if they live alone and no one distracts them from their studies and this leads to better academic performance. Secondly, because most faculties such as business theatres exist in urban areas, youngsters can have better career opportunities.
In conclusion, although I admit the drawbacks of living independently, I contend that the career and academic benefits outweigh its downsides.
