It is argued by some that mobile phones should be prohibited to use in public places such as libraries, shops, and public transport. I disagree with this statement , because mobile phones offer numerous benefits, such as communication, safety and access to information.While mobile phones can be distracting , banning them entirely in public places is not a practical solution.
On one hand ,banning mobile phones could help reduce noise pollution and distractions. Libraries , in addition meant to be quiet space for study and reading , where loud ringtones and conversation can disrupt others. Similarly, the public transport sometimes can become chaotic and loud , due to people who talk loudly on calls ,disturbing other passengers . Banning phones in such places could promote more peaceful environment .
However,this does not change the fact that mobile phones became part of our fast-paced reality. They are crucial for staying connected, especially in emergencies. For instance , someone traveling alone might need phone to call for a help or message family members about all situation. Moreover,nowadays people live in cashless society ,where beneficial to use digital payment system during shopping and public transport .Based on this ,we can understand significance of mobile phone in daily life.
Banning mobile phones in public places would be difficult to enforce and might inconvenience many people. Instead, promoting polite phone use, such as keeping phones on quiet mode and avoid loud conversations , would be more balanced approach.
