In recent time, many people are convinced that scientists and technology specialists are valued more than creative experts. I mainly agree with this statement, but I also believe that without art the world would not be so diverse.
On the one side, I mostly agree that scientists have done a lot to develop technology. Their work directly influences economic development, medical progress and the overall quality of life. For example, the invention of new technologies has transformed communication, transportation and healthcare, making daily routines safer, faster and more comfortable. People often want to believe in scientists during disaster or epidemics. Therefore, it is logical to think that the common view is that they are more useful than musicians and artists.
On the other side, musicians and artist still play an important role even if their influence is not so significantly. Art can affects people’s emotions and help understand the world better. Music can reduce stress, improve mood and bring people together. Painting or photography helps save culture and traditions. Moreover, the success of famous actors, singers or internet celebrity shows how art still valued by society. Although artists may not always solve practical problems, they enrich emotional life and help individuals express themselves is an aspect of life that technology alone cannot replace.
In conclusion, I partly agree that scientists ad technology experts are more valued, mainly because their work has a direct effect on modern progress. However, I also believe that musicians and artist have a great importance in culture development and emotional well-being. The best solution of this disagreements is to value both groups for their significance and indispensability.
