While I agree that people should be able to keep the money they earn from their hard work, I believe that paying taxes is an essential obligation in every country. Taxes fund is important for public services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure that benefit for society as a whole. Without paying tax for the contributions, governments would struggle to provide us as the citizen for these vital services, and the quality of life would suffer for everyone. Taxes help create a more equitable society by providing for those in need and maintaining the country’s overall stability.

However, I do not agree with paying taxes on things that seem unnecessary or excessive, such as additional taxes on restaurants, fast food, market and other similar expenses. These types of taxes can feel unfair, especially for people who are already paying income taxes and contributing to the economy through their spending. For instance, dining at a restaurant is a personal choice for everyone, and it should not be overly burdened for people to pay the extra tax costs. This can discourage spending for people who wants to have their meals and hurt small businesses that rely on customer traffic. Instead, governments could focus on more equitable taxation policies that better reflect people’s income levels and ability to pay.

In conclusion, while I understand the need for taxes to support public services, I believe there should be a balance for these things. People should not be overburdened with paying taxes on everyday activities or small luxuries like eating out. It is important for governments to reconsider these additional taxes payment to ensure that citizens do not feel unfairly taxed in areas that may not directly benefit the public good.
