The map on the left illustrtes the Maritza in 1984, while the one on the right demonstrates it in 2014.
Evidently, the town has undergone quite a number of significant modifications. Firstly, to the right of the car park, the former woodland got modernized to become the host of skyscrapers. West of the car park is now premises for factories. Furthermore, houses upgraded to apartments were rewarded with a bicycle park to their right, as well as a parking lot for the residents. Lastly, a school was built across the road with a zebra crossing linking the areas, both a convenience and safety measure for the students.
Moving on to things untouched, those are the restaurant and the aforementioned car park. The park south of Maritza was expanded to three times its size, and the hospital and library were relocated to the opposite side of the main road.
