In recent years, society has been developing vigorously, and new generations are growing in population. This situation entails some drawbacks, especially in the communication issues between the young and the elderly. In my opinion, this is due to the differences in perspective combined with the rapid changes, but can be addressed by having a communicator.
First of all, it is apparent that as a society grows, the environment and culture gradually shift, leading to different viewpoints between the younger and the older. Living standard has risen massively during the technology era, thus, grandparents might not be able to catch up with it. In contrast, the young generation has not gone through the developing period, which can result in the underestimation of difficulties that the previous generation has faced. As a result, this misunderstanding can result in conflicts between the two generations. For instance, the proliferation of AI tools has caused some controversies, as while some young individuals believe that they enable convenience in daily life, others think being less active and more dependent are its huge disadvantages.
There are a number of solutions to tackle this burning issue, and one of which is introducing communicators, who can understand both sides and are capable of conveying views to both. In fact, parents are the communicators for children and their grandparents, who have briefly experienced both lifestyle and the perspective of both generations. They can, for instance, introduce simple technology such as washing machines or phones for the elderly, and share experiences during the tough period of the country to their child.
In conclusion, I am convinced that the vast pace of life and uniqueness in perspective has caused many communication issues, many of which can be addressed by communicators.
